“Three-month tests conducted by greater Ontario Transit Authority revealed busses operating on AIAS processed and blended fuel reduced smoke output by over 40%.”
In February 2000, fifteen busses completed smoke tests after operating on REOS processed and blended fuel for a period of three months. The test results ranged from a low of .6 to a high of 29.4 for all fifteen tests. The values were so low the authority thought their testing equipment was faulty and contracted SN diesel service to perform smoke tests on three busses with their certified smoke meter. The three tests were performed and confirmed earlier test results with readings of 2.6, 2.9, and 3.7. |
